The FTP Global Procurement Indirect Materials and Services division is responsible for the global procurement of non-production materials and services. We are purchasing experts for a wide range of material groups, including logistics and transportation, production facilities, energy, design services, IT, marketing, and events.
As partners for our IT departments, we procure all IT-related topics in close collaboration, including hardware, licenses, IT developments, their operation, and implementation. Our aim is to achieve the globally best overall package in terms of quality, price, and innovation.

Key responsibilities include:
- Independently ensure proper and cost-effective procurement of IT scopes in the commodities of IT Consulting & Application Development, as well as licenses and occasionally hardware
- Collaborate with the IT department to shape the strategy, representing the procurement perspective in cross-functional committees
- Independently manage all operational procurement processes (tendering to contract conclusion) for your German and/or international business partners
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing and contractual terms for complex procurement processes with a high procurement volume
- Optimize the supplier structure, establish new partners nationally and internationally, and maintain relationships with existing service providers
- Conduct regression negotiations in case of problems between business partners and suppliers
- Contribute your expertise to the development of new methods, tools, and processes. Actively promote knowledge transfer within the team (e.g., sharing best practice solutions or lessons learned examples)
