As a member of our Global HR Compliance team, you will provide support for our Global HR Policy, Human Rights, Pay Equity, and Data Privacy Programs. In this role you will operate as a subject matter expert providing consultation to key stakeholders and drive initiatives supporting our employees across the globe.

A Day in the Life

HR Policy Program

· Supports updating HR Policies on the Policy Portal, and partners with HR functional and country leaders to advise on Policy development guidelines and governance.

· Conducts HR Policy annual reviews with functional leaders to ensure policies are accurate and reflect current best practices and are updated in the Policy Portal.

· Maintains HR Policy metadata in Documentum (D2) and ServiceNow and publishes changes as necessary.

Human Rights Program

· Supports the implementation of the full Global Human Rights Program Lifecyle (Data Gathering, Audit, Operational Controls, and Monitoring) for all Medtronic owned facilities.

· Participates in external audits and collaborates on responses to corporate sustainability questionnaires.

· Supports the rollout of training for HR Leaders

Pay Equity Program

· Data analysis and communication supporting annual U.S. pay equity analysis process

· Supports pay equity/pay gap analysis in alignment with country level regulations, and review of new/proposed pay equity/pay transparency regulations.

Employee Data Privacy Program

· Collaborate with Privacy Program Manager on development of training and awareness materials, completion of Privacy Impact Assessments, Records of Processing Activities, Asset Risk Questionnaires, Vendor Risk Assessments, and support to Incident Management.

· Assist in documenting requirements for the development and/or enhancement of Privacy program.

· Risk review and consultation on data report requests.

Must Haves

· Fluent in English language (verbal and written)

· Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of human resources, employment law and/or compliance experience: or

· Advanced degree with 1+ year of experience in human resources, employment law and/or compliance

Nice to Haves

· Experience working within an HR function with responsibility for HR Compliance

· Proven critical thinking skills to address complex issues to understand trends to create action plans to improve process or mitigate known risk

· Process improvement mind-set to build efficient and effective sustainable processes

· Ability to partner with multiple functions and collaborate across the organization to gain trust and develop solutions to address the needs of the business

· Ability to quickly learn new technologies and modules to provide guidance to others in a fast-paced environment
