Your next challenge:

The reception of BIL is for many of our clients the first point of contact in our iconic building at 69, route d'Esch. Very often the relationship between client and bank is determined at this first point of contact. It is of utterly importance that this first contact is based on friendliness, openness, service orientation and trust. We want that our clients and guests feel at home when they arrive. To achieve this we have a team of receptionists, based in the reception in the ground floor and also in the senior executive area. The main task of this team is to provide this special "BIL feeling" to all our guests, independent whether they have a meeting in our branch or an appointment with our relationship managers, our CEO or a board member.

  • Be responsible for all matters related to the welcoming of our clients, visitors, external suppliers.
  • Be the first ambassador of BIL feeling when receiving visitors into the BIL House, determining their needs and directing them accordingly.
  • Answer general queries and drive them to the relevant person or department.
  • Perform routine clerical or secretarial duties.
  • Accompany, install and serve our customers

Your skills:

  • We expect from every member of our team impeccable behavior and a mindset for a "close to perfection" service approach.
  • We also expect full discretion as you will be in contact with well-known and important clients and stakeholders.
  • All team members need to be fluent in welcoming our guests in Luxembourgish, French and English - and additional languages are welcome.
  • To become a member of the reception team you need to be an independent problem solver, finding quick and efficient solutions to help our clients. Going the extra mile and taking care of smallest details are a must, ideally in cooperation with your colleagues across the bank.
  • You will work closely with the relationship managers and their Teams as well as with the executive assistants Team - especially when welcoming VIP guests.
  • The ideal colleague is not afraid of special projects and open to new challenges which need to be met with a positive mindset.
  • Your strong personal skills need to be mirrored by your appearance.
  • You perceive stress as a positive challenge and you are eager to learn on a daily basis, sharing your learnings with your colleagues and motivating them to follow your positive behavior and example.
