Medical Optics is a modern, fast-paced medical eye clinic and optician, with patient service and care at its core.
We invite applications for the role of General Manager of our Fairview clinic.
The role will encompass overseeing the day to day activities of our reception and dispensing activities, ensuring the smooth running of the clinic and the meeting our weekly and monthly targets.
The ideal candidate will:
- have at least 2 years experience of managing a team in a service industry e.g. restaurant, hotel, opticians, medical clinic, retail outlet.
- be process and results driven, with excellent communication skills.
- have the ability to organise and motivate a team of 8-10 staff to undertake their daily responsibilities, while creating a positive and enjoyable work environment.
- be an active part of the team - answering phone, checking-in patients etc. but the overall purpose is to ensure that these tasks are assigned and completed.
Experience in the optical / medical area is not required but would be advantageous. Full training on our business processes will be given off site to the successful candidate.
Salary will depend on experience.
