For one of our clients in Belgium, we are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join our Team.

Context of the Mission:
As an Enterprise Data Architect, your primary responsibilities will be to assist in establishing Data Governance practices, analyze data platforms on AWS and Azure from an architectural perspective, and propose new architecture solutions. Additionally, you will be expected to possess coaching abilities to mentor and guide our new data architect.
Responsibilities.
As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Coach and support architects in training by sharing your experience, best practices and offering them guidance and advice.
- Setting up data governance practice: Responsibilities include establishing policies, processes, and frameworks to ensure effective management and utilization of data assets based on industry standards and best practices.
- collaborating with stakeholders: to define data standards, promoting data privacy and compliance, and implementing governance mechanisms.
- Data Migration Roadmap: Provide expert guidance and advisory support as a Data Architect in the development of a comprehensive roadmap for the migration of the organization's data platform and reporting systems.
- Take part in the existing governance practices within the architecture Way of Working (e.g. PI planning, Quarterly business review, Architecture Center of Excellence, daily standups, peer reviews, …)
- Act as a steward for the new data platform: providing ongoing guidance and support to ensure the proper implementation of governance principles and best practices. Monitor and assess compliance with governance policies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements.
- Degree in Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional working proficiency in English and either French or Dutch.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect, including expertise in establishing Data Governance practices.
- Strong technical proficiency in analyzing and evaluating data platforms on AWS and Azure.
- Familiarity with modern data integration techniques, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities to support the growth and development of team members.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong interest in both business and IT topics, acting as a bridge between the two domains.
- Certification in relevant technologies and frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure, TOGAF) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in an international project and program environment.
